Ukrainian boxer Yaroslav Khartsiz received a license to participate in the Olympic Games in Tokyo after his opponent from Greece refused to participate in the fight.
This was reported by UATV with reference to the NOC of Ukraine.
“Ukrainian boxer Yaroslav Khartsiz (weight category 63 kg), prematurely won a pass to the quarterfinals of the licensed tournament in the Paris, and the Olympic license in Tokyo 2020,” – the statement says.
The Olympic Games will last from July 23 to August 8 in Tokyo.
