The Big Construction program is helping to modernize the country’s infrastructure and additional jobs, which is especially important during the coronavirus pandemic.
This was stated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the air of the “VIP with Natalia Moseichuk” program on the “1+1” TV channel, informs the Office of the President.
“Big construction” is a really great reform in Ukraine, which worked. Not many reforms have worked. “Big construction” has created about 200,000 jobs. Although after the first, and during the second wave of COVID-19, Ukrainians lost almost 350,000 – 400,000 jobs. And “Big Construction” returned 200,000″, – the head of the state said.
The President noted that not all Ukrainian cities could see the results of the program. Because the local roads there are not managed by the “Ukravtodor” state enterprise of roads. But outside the cities, where Ukrainians already have the improved infrastructure.
“The “Great theft” sounds rather offensive, but everyone has the right to speak. However, there should be evidence under the words”, – Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized when asked about spending on the program.
