U.S. President Joe Biden stated that Ukrainian forces should strike North Korean troops if they cross the border.
Reuters reports the president’s statement, in which Biden expressed concern over reports of North Korean troops in Russia’s Kursk region, saying, “I am concerned about this.”
When asked if Ukraine should strike North Korean troops, he replied, “If they cross into Ukraine, then yes.”
The Pentagon recently confirmed that North Korean soldiers, who arrived in Russia for training, have started moving toward the Kursk region, with some already there.
According to the latest U.S. assessment, North Korea has sent around 10,000 troops to Russia for training and potential combat against Ukraine. CNN sources believe some North Korean soldiers may already be in Ukraine.
