“President Biden expressed deep concern to the United States and our European allies about the escalation of Russian forces around Ukraine and made it clear that the United States and our allies will respond with decisive economic and other measures in the event of military escalation,” the statement said.
Joe Biden reaffirmed his support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and called for de-escalation by Russia.
