Russian military facilities in Crimea were attacked by 42 drones at once. This is an indicator of the Ukrainian defense industry and the ability of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to block logistics on the occupied peninsula. Military-political expert Dmitry Snegirev stated this live on the FREEDOM TV channel.
“The Armed Forces of Ukraine have moved practically to the first phase of planning the cascade nature of the de-occupation of Crimea. This is the NATO classification. Moreover, it is noteworthy that the strikes by unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as the strike on the logistics component of the Russian occupiers in Crimea, are taking place against the backdrop of statements by Western experts that this is inappropriate. And the Armed Forces of Ukraine are allegedly better off focusing on the issues of delivering strikes directly on the line of contact,” he said.
Snegirev stressed that such actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have a political connotation.
“They get the subjectivity of decision-making by the Ukrainian president and, accordingly, the Ukrainian Armed Forces. A very clear statement by our president that Crimea would be de-occupied by military means actually put an end to this issue, there will be no political tours at the moment of Russia’s possible recognition of the status of the occupied Crimea in exchange for so-called guarantees. The only guarantee of maintaining the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country is the Armed Forces, which demonstrate the successful nature of the actions, ”the expert noted.
He added that at the moment, prerequisites are being created for the de-occupation of Crimea by armed means, that is, the breakthrough of the Armed Forces of Ukraine directly into the territory of the peninsula.
Recall that the operations of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in Crimea are the key to the depletion of the Russian occupation group. Ukraine has the means to strike at any Russian targets on the peninsula – this is done with long-range missiles, sea drones, UAVs. In addition, successful ground operations are already underway. This was stated by adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Podolyak.
