Poland’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Władyslaw Teofil Bartoszewski has reacted to recent Viktor Orban’s accusations.

That’s according to TVP.

“I don’t really understand why Hungary wants to remain a member of organizations that it doesn’t like so much and that, allegedly, treats it badly. Why doesn’t he [Orban] create a Union with Putin and some authoritarian states of that type? If you don’t want to be a member of the club, you always can leave,” claims Teofil Bartoszewski.

In his opinion, Hungary is a perfect example of a state that demonstrates anti-European, anti-Polish and anti-Ukrainian rhetoric.

As of now, Hungary is blocking Ukraine aid due to its sanctions on Russian oil.

This is a response to Viktor Orbán’s statement that Poland is conducting “the most sanctimonious and the most hypocritical policy in the whole of Europe” as he accused the neighbour of conducting discreet business with Russia on July 27.
