Angry Siberians Take it to the Street of Kemerovo to Protest Against the Negligence of Local Russian Authorities That They Deem Responsible for the Fire

What caused the fire remains unknown but the authorities have launched an investigation to find out what or who is responsible for this tragedy – an investigation under pressure as Vladimir Putin himself arrived in Kemerovo to bring his support to the local population, but more importantly to deal with those he accused of negligence and sloppiness.

Local politician Anton Gorelkin stated on his Facebook page that apparently the fire exit doors of the mall were shut, turning the commercial center into a death trap.

5 people are currently in custody but it is expected that more will end up behind bars, at least temporarily, for the time of the investigation.
