Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak met with William Taylor, former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine, Vice President for Europe and Russia at the United States Institute of Peace.

Andriy Yermak thanked William Taylor for his support of Ukraine both in public speeches, at various venues, and within the activities of the Institute of Peace.

The interlocutors discussed the security situation in Ukraine, in particular Russia’s recent missile attacks on Ukrainian cities, the course of hostilities on the frontline and the assistance our country needs from partner countries.

“Despite all the current challenges, Ukrainians continue to demonstrate resilience and continue to fight the aggressor,” the Head of the Presidential Office stated.

Andriy Yermak briefed William Taylor on Ukraine’s efforts to implement the Peace Formula proposed by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. In particular, he spoke about the results of the fourth meeting at the level of national security advisors and foreign policy advisors to the heads of state in Davos, following which Switzerland announced the preparation of the Global Peace Summit. Representatives of already 60 countries are ready to take part in it.

William Taylor shared his vision of the Ukrainian Peace Formula and proposed a number of interesting solutions for its implementation.
