Andriy Yermak discusses support for Ukraine with Jacob Sullivan

In a continuous dialogue, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak had a phone call with US President’s National Security Advisor Jacob Sullivan.

The sides discussed the urgent issues and needs of Ukraine in order to strengthen the defense capability and stability in repelling the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation.

Yermak thanked the administration of US President Joseph Biden, Congress, and the entire American people for their strong support of our state, its freedom, and independence.

The United States is preparing a new $1bn security assistance package for Ukraine, which will include munitions for long-range weapons and armored medical transport vehicles.

The US has given about $8.8bn in aid to Ukraine since Russia’s invasion on February 24.
