Minister of Defence of Ukraine Andrii Taran met with the General Director of the Turkish company Baykar Makina Haluk Bayraktar. The company produces unmanned aerial vehicles Bayraktar TB2 for Ukraine.

During the event, they discussed the progress of the production of complexes ordered by the Ukrainian side and the possibility of accelerating the implementation of previously reached agreements. In addition, they considered the prospects for locating the production of Turkish unmanned aerial vehicles on the territory of Ukraine.
Minister of Defence of Ukraine Andrii Taran signed agreements with Turkish companies on the transfer of technology and the production of corvettes and attack unmanned aerial systems for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on December 14, 2020.
The signing took place during the visit of the Turkish delegation headed by the President of the Directorate of Defense Industry of the Turkish Republic Ismail Demir.
