Advanced Combat Module “Duplet” Successfully Passed Tests in Ukraine

The advanced combat module, Duplet, which is intended to modernize armored vehicles in the Ukrainian military, has successfully passed testing.

This was announced today by the president of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, on Facebook.

“Zhytomyr Armored Plant significantly improved the characteristics of the combat module and equipped it with an advanced fire system, allowing to track targets in automatic mode, calculate the ammunition ballistics and accurately open fire day and night,” Poroshenko wrote.

Poroshenko also said that Ukraine continues to work on strengthening the army.

In April, Poroshenko took part in the final tests of the Vilkha missile system. The mass production of Vilkha missiles will begin in 2018.

Successful tests of a new modification of the anti-tank guided missile complex, Skif, were also conducted in April.
