As the number of dissatisfied with the actions of the military and political leadership of the country increases in Russia, the creator of the private military company (PMC) Wagner Yevgeny Prigozhin can carry out a conspiracy against the Russian regime by teaming up with the military leadership that criticizes Russia’s war against Ukraine. This opinion was expressed on the air of the FREEDOM TV channel by sociologist and journalist Igor Eidman.
He believes that Prigozhin collaborated with many generals of the Russian army.
“Prigozhin fed a lot of people in the army. There are also a lot of dissatisfied, because the course of the war is far from what they expected. Everyone understands that Shoigu, Gerasimov, the Russian command and Putin himself, proved to be complete adventurers and non-professionals, ”the journalist said.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has demonstrated his own weakness after Prigozhin’s rebellion, the sociologist believes.
“Putin clearly demonstrates that he is no guarantor of security, and he is very weak. He complains about everyone – about the West, about Ukraine, about Prigozhin, ”he said.
According to Eidman, Prigozhin will not stop there and can organize a conspiracy against the Russian leadership by teaming up with the generals.
“The rebellion can repeat itself, and quite quickly. Prigogine hasn’t gone anywhere. A person of such a psychotype will not stop, he will continue to intrigue further. I think he could easily organize a conspiracy. And in this case, rely on people like [Russian Major General Ivan] Popov, that is, people in uniforms. So there will still be,” he suggested.
Earlier, the commander of the 58th Combined Arms Army of the Southern Military District of the Russian Armed Forces, Major General Ivan Popov, recorded an audio message to the military. He said that he was removed from command after he expressed his claims “at the very top” and outlined all the problematic issues of the army.
