A day in Donbas: 7 violations of the ceasefire, 1 soldier killed

Over the past day, on February 28, the Russian Federation’s armed forces have seven times violated the ceasefire regime in the Joint Forces Operation zone.

The Russian-occupation forces have deliberately fired the 120-mm mortars, various grenade launchers, heavy guns, firearms, and sniper rifles near the town of Pishchevyk. As a result of enemy fire one Ukrainian warrior was killed.

The occupants fired various grenade launchers, heavy guns and firearms near the towns of Shyrokine and Vodiane. The hostile UAV was spotted crossing the contact line. The flight was timely terminated by EW-support. The occupants fired automatic grenade launchers several times near the town of Verkhniotoretsk.

Ukrainian military fired back after enemy’s attacks.

As of 7 a.m. March 1 one ceasefire regime violation was recorded. Near the town of Pavlopol the Russian Federation’s armed forces fired automatic and infantry anti-tank rocket launchers. Responding to enemy’s actions, Ukrainian military had to fire back.

Earlier, Leonid Kravchuk said that the enemy shelling in Donbas should get mirror-like response.
