White House National Security Advisor John Kirby has instructed Vladimir Putin on his further actions in the Kursk region in connection with Ukraine’s incursion.

He said this during a press briefing on August 12.

“Make no mistake about it: This is Putin’s war against Russia. And if he doesn’t like it, if it’s making him a little uncomfortable, then there’s an easy solution: He can just get the hell out of Ukraine and call it a day,” John Kirby stressed.

He added that despite Putin’s statements that Russia is actually waging a war against NATO or the collective West, Russian people remain “the only people at war in Ukraine”.

When ssked about Russia using North Korean missiles for a recent strike on Kyiv, Kirby said that Putin is desperate for military support which is why he will keep pushing Russia into North Korea and Iran’s arms.

“Any notion of a burgeoning defense relationship between North Korea and Russia will have ramifications for our collective security and our national security requirements in the Indo-Pacific,” suggested the White House official.

Previously, U.S. officials claimed that Ukraine’s operation didn’t go against U.S. policy.
