Trump keeps convincing everyone Putin wouldn’t dare to fully invade Ukraine if he was elected in 2020 though… We’ll never know

Former U.S president Donlad Trump has once again claimed that the war in Ukraine wouldn’t have begun if he was a president in 2020-2022.

He reiterated this notion in an interview with Bloomberg.

“Putin and I got along very well, with our relationship. We were never in danger of a war. He would have never gotten into Ukraine. I said, don’t ever, ever go into Ukraine,” a Republican candidate told Bloomberg. He also called Xi Jinping his good friend though Trump is known for his aggresive economical policy towards China.

This is Donald Trump’s key statement within his presidential campaign when it comes to foreign policy.

At the same time, he hinted at the fact that he wouldn’t assist Taiwan if it was attacked by China but didn’t explain why his ‘they wouldn’t dare to invade’ policy fails when it comes to China and Taiwan.
