Russia covers S-300 systems in occupied Crimea with residential buildings

As Ukraine continues to precisely destroy various military sites in occupied Crimea, Russia starts hiding its S-300 air defense systems there behind civilians.

“In Sevastopol, local residents complain that S-300 air defense missile launchers were placed in the residential area between private houses on the 7th kilometer of the Balaklava highway,” Crimean Wind Telegram channel reports.

According to the channel, the air defense system was previously deployed at Hirnych Heights on the 10th kilometer of the Balaklava highway. Now, people are not happy to see it even closer than before while Ukrainians are ‘wiping out air defense systems’ in Crimea.

Earlier, The Economist stated that Crimea would become “a death trap” for the Russian forces after Biden’s administration had approved ATACMS long-range missiles.

In the recent days, the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck a ferry crossing in Kerch, actively used by the enemy to support its troops in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
