The mission of the Russian army of occupation is not defined exclusively by the borders of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The enemy destroys Avdiivka and will move on. Military commentator, reserve colonel Vladyslav Seleznyov expressed this opinion today, November 12, on the air of FREEDOM TV channel.
“Russian artillery and aviation are systematically and methodically destroying both industrial facilities, in particular the Avdiiv Coke Chemical Plant, and social and cultural facilities, as well as the houses of ordinary residents. It is important for them to destroy all physical objects on the territory of this settlement, so that the Ukrainian Defense Forces have nothing to cling to, no place to wait out enemy artillery and air attacks, so that they can literally enter the ruins and the ruins in order to take these ruins under CONTROL. It is obvious that the enemy is not going to stop on the territory of Avdiyivka, he plans to move on,” he said.
The colonel recalled that sometime in 2014, the enemy dreamed of implementing the so-called “New Russia plan”.
“This quasi-state entity was to include 7 oblasts of Ukraine, starting from Kharkiv Oblast, then Donetsk Oblast, Luhansk Oblast, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson Oblast, Odesa Oblast and Crimea, Sevastopol. Things did not turn out the way Putin had dreamed then. But now he is gradually trying to realize this mission, although in principle, if you listen to the rhetoric of the main speakers of the Russian Federation, their position is absolutely unambiguous – they dream of destroying Ukraine as a state, and Ukrainians as a component of the nations of the world. After all, without full control over the territory of Ukraine, Russia will never become an empire,” says Seleznyov.
It is for the purpose of implementing these missions, the observer believes, that the enemy is ready to go to a colossal level of loss.
“Everyone has read the statement of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Valery Zaluzhny, who says that he was absolutely sure that the figure of 150,000 killed Russian servicemen would definitely stop Putin from continuing the same alarmist policy. But, as we can see, the figure has long gone beyond the position of 300 thousand, but Putin continues to look for resources and opportunities to repeatedly attack our defenders, who are fighting virtually along the entire 1,450-kilometer line of combat clashes,” concluded Vladyslav Seleznyov.
