There is direct evidence of the involvement of Lukashenko and his close circle in the removal of Ukrainian children, – expert’s data

The self-proclaimed president of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, is directly involved in the deportation of Ukrainian orphans, who are now being instilled with hatred for Ukraine. This was announced on the air of the FREEDOM TV channel by the deputy head of the Joint Transitional Cabinet of Belarus, head of the People’s Anti-Crisis Department Pavel Latushko.

He stressed that Ivan Golovaty, director general of the Belaruskali state enterprise, who is the godfather of Lukashenko’s youngest son Nikolai, publicly stated that they were taking Ukrainian children away.

“We have documentary evidence that Belaruskali finances, that Belaruskali transport transported Ukrainian children. We see how children are ideologically manipulated. For example, I apologize for saying this on the air when the Gruzdeva propaganda sisters perform in the Dubrava camp, which belongs to Belaruskali, and say the following from the stage to Ukrainian children, “for Biden to die, for Zelensky to die, and for Putin to prosper, Let’s light candles for Putin’s health.” We can imagine what kind of narratives Ukrainian children get,” Latushko said.

According to him, it was possible to identify 16 orphans who were illegally taken out of the territory of Ukraine, however, it can be argued that hundreds of children were moved in violation of the Geneva Conventions.

“But for Lukashenko in this case, for Golovaty, the law is not written, just as for Talai (Paralympian Alexei Talai, who has his own fund – ed.), for Olga Volkova, who heads the Russian Dolphin Foundation, for Dmitry Mezentsev, in respect of which we submitted the relevant documents to the international tribunal in The Hague. Dmitry Mezentsev is the State Secretary of the Union State. So now we see two sources of funding – this is the so-called union budget of the Union State, where Lukashenko personally signs documents, puts his signature … And plus these are the funds of Belaruskali, – said Latushko.

He noted that now Portugal and Belgium are lobbying for the lifting of sanctions against Belaruskali, which were introduced back in 2021 for the illegal hijacking of a Ryanair flight and due to the migration crisis on the Polish-Belarusian border. These EU countries justify their position regarding the easing of sanctions against the potash industry of Belarus by the need to ensure food security in the world.

“We understand that there are other interests behind this. This interest lies in giving Lukashenko the opportunity to earn billions of dollars and spend these billions of dollars on the war, on the production of weapons for the same Wagner group, the base of which is planned to be created in Belarus, on the training of Russian soldiers on the territory of Belarus, on the construction of prisons. where political prisoners are killed and where political prisoners are already dying, including for the deportation of Ukrainian children. Therefore, we categorically insist on the inadmissibility of lifting these sanctions,” Latushko said.

Earlier, on March 17, 2023, the International Criminal Court in The Hague issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ombudsman Maria Lvova-Belova. The reason is the illegal deportation of children from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine to Russia.
