Russia has been able to increase its weapons production by using various loopholes to circumvent sanctions. Today, May 25, military and public figure, reserve major general of the Security Service of Ukraine, deputy head of the Security Service of Ukraine (2014-2015) Viktor Yagun told about this on the air of FREEDOM TV channel.
He noted that the Russian Federation has difficulties with new missile developments. Now the actions of the aggressor country are aimed at modernizing the existing models.
“We have information, and it is confirmed that, on the contrary, they are trying to somehow change the design of certain missiles, to modernize them in such a way that there are fewer parts and electronics. That is, they will be slightly underequipped… As for new technical developments, I do not believe in such possibilities,” Yagun said.
According to his information, the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation is now trying to increase the production of weapons. Even before the start of active hostilities, the Russians had a certain stock of components.
“Secondly, it is necessary to understand that their intelligence and their entrepreneurs are actively working in different countries, trying to circumvent sanctions, there are “gray” imports. That is, it all works. The fact that we receive information after the downed missiles, which we pass on to our partners, gives us the opportunity to target those companies, those countries that help Russia circumvent sanctions, to organize secondary sanctions and close all the loopholes. For now, it must be stated that Russia has increased the production of weapons, in particular high-precision weapons, and is using all loopholes to continue working in this way,” Yagun said.

Earlier, the European Commission disclosed the details of the new package of sanctions against Russia. According to the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, the new restrictions will apply to companies that ignore the sanctions regime and continue to export prohibited goods to the Russian Federation.
