The Russians, preparing for the future Ukrainian counteroffensive, will most likely dig trenches and mine the occupied territories of Ukraine using literally Stakhanovite methods. But with the new weapons and equipment, the Russian troops have obvious problems. This opinion was voiced by Ivan Stupak, an ex-employee of the Security Service of Ukraine, on the FREEDOM TV channel.
“Most likely, there will be such a Stakhanovite method: but the team of the South Ural District dug 100 thousand kilometers of trenches and trenches there. But there the Dagestan district dug up so many thousands of kilometers of trenches in Ukraine. That is, there will be 100% competition. They will compete with each other, dig, mine – this is the standard logic. And wait, because new technology will not come to them modern. Rather, it will be a few, ”Stupak believes.
He drew attention to the fact that even at the parade in Moscow on May 9, the Russians were not able to collect and show units of modern military equipment.
“Even the T-90 tanks were not shown. It was possible to bring 10 units, stretch and take back. But this means that they do not have enough resources. That is, there is not enough opportunity to pick up from the front, expose the front and take it to Moscow, and then back, ”the expert noted.
Ivan Stupak also commented on the statement of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky that the freezing of the war or the repetition of the “Minsk agreements” should not be allowed.
“We must understand that there is such a scenario. When the Russian Federation loses, and if it does not cease to exist, I’m not saying that it will definitely fall apart, because it sounds like a hatred, and that political structure, headed by one little dictator-grandfather, will remain, then we need to expect revenge . The young generation of the Russian Federation will be “pumped up” with propaganda. In the history books, all events will be shown as follows: Ukraine independently occupied the “primordially Russian lands” of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporozhye, Kherson regions, and we must do everything to return them. And it will become a national idea, a national religion. No one will remember under what conditions the Russian Federation ended up there, ”the guest of the broadcast believes.
Stupak admits that Ukraine may not end up with a peace treaty with the Russian Federation. Perhaps some kind of truce will be signed, he believes.
“But even if there is a peace treaty, there will be a thousand signatures of various Russian politicians, this does not mean that they will stick to their word. We have already seen how the Russian Federation gave its word and took it. And in general, they gave the word – the word was taken away – this is a standard default story for Russian rulers, ”summed up Stupak.

Earlier, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that the allies prepared the Ukrainian Armed Forces for the offensive, but the Russians also built a strong defense.
