The quality of Russian fakes is getting lower, – an expert on the propaganda of the Kremlin

Andrey Shapovalov, Acting Head of the Center for Counteracting Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council, on the air of the FREEDOM TV channel, noted that Russian propagandists have well learned the lesson of Goebbels that a lie repeated hundreds of times makes one doubt.

The guest of the broadcast emphasized that the quality of Russian stuffing is getting lower and lower.

“Today, the quality of stuffing and the quality of fakes is getting lower and lower. Perhaps due to the fact that the propagandists themselves are disappointed in their own work and in not achieving the goal. Because if they are better at working for the domestic market, then the foreign market simply looks at them as if they are crazy, ”says Shapovalov.

He noted that one of the topics that propagandists like to use is the supply of weapons to Ukraine.

“Most often, several narratives are associated with this topic – that the military equipment will arrive too late for Ukraine, the military equipment is old, faulty and all that. The purpose of using such narratives is to spread panic among the population of Ukraine. But Western aid is coming, we see, hear, know, and Ukrainian wars incredibly quickly learn the necessary skills, knowledge for quality work, ”said the guest on the air.

Shapovalov also expressed his opinion on the liquidation of the Russian war correspondent Fomin-“Tatarsky”.

“In the Russian Federation, everyone is at a loss from the reaction of society to this terrorist attack. Because the expected indignation, popular anger, which the terrorists were counting on, did not happen. Most of the Russian society does not believe in Ukraine’s involvement in this terrorist attack and is generally very skeptical about the personality of this military correspondent, who robbed banks, killed collectors, and then became a folk hero, ”Shapovalov added.
