The Hungarian leadership is really trying to get around a lot,” said Zagorodny.
According to the political technologist, the Hungarian government talks more, but does not want to cross the red lines, because it understands the risks associated with the fact that it may receive a backlash from the European Union and from all those who look suspiciously at Hungarians.
“But it is still beneficial for Russia to have Hungary. For example, now not only Turkey does not allow Sweden to join NATO, Hungary also does not allow it to join NATO, it does not want to ratify with such wording… This is called a very clever arrangement. Because Finland and Sweden wanted to join together, they demanded that they join together, and this is the beginning of Erdogan’s and Hungary’s games. He says: “Okay, let’s skip one, but not the others.” It’s like that, but will NATO swallow it? This is not an omission, this is an attempt to split the allies. Will you swallow the fact that Sweden was not taken under false pretenses? Look, Erdogan allegedly because of the burning of the Koran.
