25 units of rehabilitation equipment were purchased for funds raised through the UNITED24 fundraising platform. The procurement amount is UAH 48,236,464. This decision was made by the Сommission on the allocation of funds to meet the needs of health care.
These are two types of motorized pedal exercisers; two types of rehabilitation simulators for balance training (one type is for patients who can stand, the other for those who cannot); a dynamic device for restoring walking functions. There are 5 units of each.
“For the funds raised through UNITED24, we will also purchase devices for patient rehabilitation, in addition to medical equipment to save the lives of Ukrainians and treat them,” said Maria Karchevych, Deputy Minister of Health for Digital Development, Head of the Commission on the allocation of funds to meet healthcare needs.
As a reminder, the ambulances purchased with funds from UNITED24 donors are already saving lives of Ukrainians.
