Those people who are responsible for real military support to Ukraine come to the meeting in German Ramstein. This opinion was expressed on the air of the FREEDOM TV channel by security expert Ivan Varchenko.
“Ramstein” traditionally becomes the platform that makes decisions, and not only discusses and shares expert assessments regarding the war and its prospects, the participation of the state”, – he said.
According to him, every minister of defense and an authorized person who participated in the meeting in Ramstein talked about how they will support Ukraine over the next month and with what weapons:
“Now we have a very good list of weapons that allow Ukrainian army to move from active defense to offensive operations. In fact, this is demonstrated by the Ukrainian forces. They are doing unprecedented things of an offensive nature. Moreover, this is unprecedented things in the recent history of Europe and the world”, – the expert emphasized.
Varchenko added that the success of the Ukrainian army stimulates countries that gather at such forums to think more actively about real weapons, allowing the Armed Forces of Ukraine to be even more effective and strong in confronting the Russian Federation.
He drew attention to the fact that some countries are in no hurry to arm Ukraine, although this is a matter of their security. Nevertheless, partner countries allow the Ukrainian army to become stronger every day:
“We are trying to convince to help Ukraine other countries that today still think long and sometimes do not keep their promises. But we hope that the nations of these countries will encourage their political and military elites to think that Ukraine is protecting not only its own security and independence, but also the way of life of these countries and values. First of all, I am talking about France and Germany, which are in no hurry to talk and promise us weapons. They are trying to get us by light help.”
