Judicial reform is a long and difficult process, but it will definitely be completed.

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this at a press conference today, UA reports.

The Verkhovna Rada has already adopted fundamental laws on the work of the High Qualifications Commission of Judges and the High Council of Justice (GRP).

“This is my initiative, and you know very well that the People’s Servant party and some other deputies of other groups voted for these laws. The majority answered the voting questions. Then they need to be implemented” – Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

The laws on HCJC and GRP were adopted in exactly the format on which consensus was reached in Ukrainian society, in a judicial environment supported by Ukraine’s international partners.

The head of state is convinced that the process of reforming the judiciary will eventually be completed.

“It simply came to our notice then. All these laws, which were sent from us to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, no matter how difficult it is, we will bring it all to an end” – he stressed.

To remind, the president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that modernization of the Ukrainian infrastructure is noted not only in Ukraine, but also in the world.
