Volodymyr Zelenskyy sent a motion to appoint Oleksiy Reznikov, former Minister for Reintegration of the Occupied Territories, as the new Minister of Defense.
This is reported by UA with reference to the Telegram of the Representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk.
“The Verkhovna Rada has received a motion from the President to appoint Oleksiy Reznikov as the Minister of Defense of Ukraine” – it is said in Melnychuk’s message.
To remind, at the plenary session on Wednesday, November 3, the Verkhovna Rada dismissed Deputy Prime Minister – Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Oleksiy Reznikov.
