Seven civilians have died in Donbas since the beginning of the year, – Denysova

As a result of hostilities in Donbas, 17 civilians have suffered since the beginning of the year. Seven of them died, ten were injured. Ombudsman Lyudmila Denisova announced this, UATV informs.

Among the dead there are 2 children. 12 people were killed or injured due to the explosion of mines, and 4 – due to shelling.

Last year, as a result of hostilities, 18 civilians were killed, another 89 were injured in Donbas.

Also, according to her, local “administrations” continue to issue Russian passports to residents of the occupied territories. In addition, the local “authorities” have begun to mobilize the population – young people aged 18-35 are being illegally drafted into the so-called army.

“The aggressor conducts active information propaganda against Ukraine. The so-called patriotic education has been introduced in schools, which leads to the militarization of children,” Denysova said.
