On July 24, two Ukrainian prisoners of war will have their birthdays behind bars in Russia. Serhiy Tsibizov turns 22 and Volodymyr Tereshchenko turns 25, the coordinator of the legal team for the prisoners, Mykola Polozov, reported.
“Team of defendants of prisoners of war of Ukrainian sailors from our hearts congratulates our heroes — sailors! We wish you a quick return home!” he wrote.
On July 17, the Lefortovo Court of Moscow extended the detention of the Ukrainian sailors who were taken captive by Russian forces near the Kerch Strait in November 2018.
