The Russian occupations forces staged a provocation using a UAV that flew over the positions of the Ukrainian units in the combat zone in Donbas, the press center of the Joint Forces Operation reported.

The enemy’s objective was to clarify the set-up of the defense structures and expose the firing systems of the JFO units.

“Thanks to the coordinated actions of the scouts and the calculations of the duty fire weapons, the provocation has been stopped, and one more enemy’s UAV has been destroyed,” said the post.

The remnants of the shot down drone were transferred to employees of special units for identification and investigative works.
