The Avdiivka Coke and Chemical Plant is now at its pre-war industrial efficiency.
President Petro Poroshenko made the statement today in Avdiivka, where he came to open high-pressure gas pipeline, a UATV correspondent reported.
“All sections are in operation. The plant has been rehabilitated to its pre-war efficiency. The plant is recruiting engineering personnel,” Poroshenko said.
“People believe that a peaceful life in Avdiivka will be provided by the Ukrainian authorities,” Poroshenko said.
The village has become a symbol of Ukrainian stability and “the hand of the Russian invader” won’t shut off electricity or shut down gas supply, Poroshenko said.
Avdiivka and seven surrounding villages were earlier connected to gas supply.
