A company from Odesa is producing innovative electric motorcycles.
They can reach the speed of a sports car in just a few seconds, and cover 250 kilometers without needing a recharge.
Ruslan Belunov, who is a professional motorcycle racer, is an enthusiast of the electric bikes. He has been into motorcycles since the age of five. Recently, he traded his gasoline-powered motorbike for an electric one. It was made by a team of enthusiasts from Odesa. The vehicle’s characteristics are on par with classic motorcycles
“The electric bike is very nice and maneuverable, the dynamics are great! It’s a lot richer than the motorcycles with internal combustion engines! It’s an innovation,” Belunov said.
This Odesa company made several types of electric motorcycles. All of the models have a similar design. Their main distinction from the ones produced by other manufacturers is its the speed and range.
“Our top models can go more than 200 kilometers without being recharged, and maintain the maximum speed of more than 140 kilometers per hour,” representative Maksym Danylenko said.
The engineers also have a prototype “superbike” for racing.
“No gasoline motorcycle is capable of doing what this bike will be able to do. With its electric engine and innovative elements developed by our Ukrainian minds,” founder Denys Dimov said.
The company is planning to release a test model of the Superbike this fall. Its capabilities will be tested next year at the MotoE racing for electric motorcycles in Italy
