2 Ukrainian wrestlers will compete for the Olympic gold

At least two Ukrainian Greco-Roman wrestlers secured silver medals at the Tokyo Olympics. Jean Beleniuk in the semi-finals of the category up to 78 kg with a score of 7:1 defeated Croatian Ivan Guklek, and Pavriz Nasibov in the weight category up to 67 kg defeated an opponent from Egypt Mohammed Ibrahim El-Sayed – 7:6, UA informs.

Both athletes will compete for championship titles in their categories on August 4.

The representative of the women’s wrestling Iryna Kolyadenko in the weight category up to 62 kg lost the semi-finals and will fight for the “bronze”.

Athlete Marina Bekh-Romanchuk finished the 5th in the long jump final. Out of five attempts, only one was successful. Marina’s husband, swimmer Mykhailo Romanchuk, won two medals in Tokyo – “silver” and “bronze”. Gymnast Petro Pakhnyuk took 7th place in exercises on uneven bars.
