Ukraine has always supported the position of silence in the sky, at sea, and halting attacks on the energy sector.

The head of state stated this during an online press conference Tuesday night, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“We have always supported the position of silence and not hitting energy facilities with any weapons, as well as silence in the sky. And also not to attacking at sea, port infrastructure, food security corridor, etc. We came out with this. These were our proposals. We will support any proposals that lead to a sustainable and just peace,” Zelenskyy said.

However, as Zelenskyy noted, it is necessary to discuss all the details of the process, adding that negotiating about Ukraine without Ukraine is fruitless.

As previously reported, on Tuesday, U.S. President Donald Trump had a phone call with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.

Donald Trump’s administration said the Russian side agreed to a limited ceasefire, implying that strikes be halted targeting energy and infrastructure facilities in Ukraine as part of an initiative proposed by the U.S. to establish peace in Ukraine.
