President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held telephone conversations with Presidents of France Emmanuel Macron and Finland Alexander Stubb and informed about his talks with US Presidential Special Envoy Keith Kellogg.
He wrote about this on the social network X, Ukrinform reports.
According to Zelenskyy, he had a “very good and constructive conversation with Alexander Stubb,” during which they discussed, in particular, security guarantees, the supply of weapons and ammunition, and investments in Ukraine’s domestic defense production.
“I informed him about our meeting with c today. We need to act together: Ukraine, America, Europe. And be at the negotiating table together. A common plan and joint steps are the basis for a just and sustainable peace that we all need and will definitely achieve,” Zelenskyy wrote, thanking Stubb for his determination and firm support.
This was followed by a “long and very substantive conversation” with French President Emmanuel Macron, during which Zelenskyy informed about his meeting with Kellogg and phone conversations with other leaders.
“The actions of Ukraine, the United States and Europe must be consistent. After all, a common position is the basis for bringing a just peace closer. As always, the conversation with Emmanuel was constructive. We clearly coordinated our positions and joint plans and next steps. We discussed in detail our views on security guarantees. A just and lasting peace is our common goal. We are working together to achieve it. Just as partners should work,” the President of Ukraine wrote.
He emphasized that the future security architecture must be strong – so that Russia can never attack anyone again.
“And this can be guaranteed. Thank you, Emmanuel, for your advice and support,” Zelenskyy wrote.
As Ukrinform reported, Kellogg arrived in Kyiv on the morning of February 19.
Later, Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Keith Kellogg to discuss effective security guarantees and the return of prisoners; Ukraine also proposed the fastest and most constructive way to achieve peace.
