Stefanchuk, Kellogg discuss just end to war unleashed by Russia

Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk and U.S. Special Representative for Ukraine and Russia Keith Kellogg discussed issues related to ending Russian aggression and achieving a just and lasting peace.

Stefanchuk posted this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

“Ukraine is a victim of aggression; Russia is the aggressor. We did not start this war, but we are ready for a just end to it,” the Ukrainian speaker emphasized.

He briefed Kellogg on the parliament’s work, which has not stopped its activities since the full-scale invasion and has been adopting important decisions to bolster defense, political unity and social stability.

Stefanchuk emphasized that the U.S, support is more important for Ukraine than ever. He expressed his belief that the United States and President Donald Trump will to continue to lead and stand for the values Ukraine is fighting for.

The Verkhovna Rada chairman thanked Kellogg for his dedication to the shared cause and wished him success in his mission.

As reported by Ukrinform, Keith Kellogg arrived in Kyiv on the morning of February 19.
