President-elect Donald Trump celebrated his return to the White House by raising a record-breaking $250 million for his inauguration campaign, surpassing the $107 million raised for his first inauguration in 2017, according to ABC News.

The funds include contributions to the official Trump-Vance Inaugural Committee and other major Trump-affiliated organizations responsible for the events.

Key tech industry contributions include $1 million each from Meta, Apple, Amazon, Google, Microsoft, OpenAI, and Uber. This marks Meta’s first donation to a presidential inauguration, while Apple, Amazon, Google, and Microsoft have previously supported such events.

The committee also received significant contributions from the cryptocurrency sector, including $5 million from Ripple, $2 million from Robinhood, and $1 million from Coinbase.

Longtime corporate donors like Bank of America and Boeing also contributed to the inauguration.

On January 20, Trump and First Lady Melania Trump arrived at the White House for the traditional tea with outgoing President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden. Upon their arrival, Biden welcomed them with the words: “Welcome home.”
