British intelligence reports that in November, the average daily losses of Russian occupation forces in Ukraine (killed and wounded) reached a new record.
The relevant review by British intelligence was published on X (Twitter) by the UK Ministry of Defence.
According to the review, citing data from the Ukrainian General Staff, in November, the daily average of Russian occupation army losses was 1,523 individuals (killed and wounded).
Additionally, on November 28, a new daily loss record was set—2,030 individuals. This marked the first time that Russia’s daily loss figure exceeded 2,000.
November became the fifth consecutive month in which Russian forces increased their total monthly losses, British intelligence noted. This month, Russia suffered its highest losses, with a total of 45,680 personnel.
The agency attributes the high level of losses to the rapid pace of Russian operations and offensives.
The occupation army is attempting to intensify pressure on Ukrainian positions, aiming to push Ukrainian forces back on several sections of the front.
“In December 2024, despite the onset of winter, the number of Russian casualties will likely continue to exceed 1,000 per day, and infantry attacks will persist on several fronts,” the review concludes.
On October 21, UK Defence Minister John Healy stated that the situation on the battlefield in Ukraine is dire, pointing out that the frontline is “less stable than ever since the early days of the full-scale invasion” in February 2022.
Recently, British intelligence described the massive use of drones as a key event that has altered the nature of Russia’s war against Ukraine.
