The head of the committee on intelligence of the House of Representatives of the U.S. Congress, Republican Michael Turner believes that if the military of North Korea enters the Russian-Ukrainian war, the U.S. should consider the possibility of taking “direct military action.”

This is reported by the newspaper The Hill.

Turner believes that the administration of American President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris “should clearly make it clear that the entry of North Korean troops into this conflict is a red line for the United States.”

“If the troops of North Korea enter the sovereign territory of Ukraine, the U.S. needs to seriously consider the possibility of taking direct military action against the troops of North Korea,” he stated.

Recall that the intelligence of South Korea reported on Wednesday that North Korea sent 3,000 military personnel to Russia to support the occupiers in the war against Ukraine and is also trying to isolate the families of the selected soldiers in a certain place so that the information does not spread.

Later, information about several thousand North Korean military personnel in Russia was confirmed by the White House, which also stated that the military of the DPRK, in case of participation in the war against Ukraine, would become legitimate targets just like the Russians.

Against this background, Germany and Austria summoned the North Korean ambassadors.
