The presidential candidate from the Democratic Party, the current Vice President of the USA Kamala Harris sees the risks that “Putin will sit in Kyiv” if her opponent Donald Trump comes to power.

Her words are quoted by CNN.

Kamala Harris, speaking at a campaign event in Michigan, reminded of Trump’s repeated promises to end the Russian-Ukrainian war within a day.

“Read this and realize what he is saying. He would capitulate… He would make it so that Ukraine would capitulate in the fight against the aggressor who violated its sovereignty. If Donald Trump becomes president, Vladimir Putin will sit in Kyiv. Realize what this will mean for America and our positions in the world,” said Harris.

This is not her first such statement – she expressed this opinion during debates with Trump.

Harris also stated that she would not meet with the ruler of Russia to discuss ways to end the war he unleashed against Ukraine.

Donald Trump, after a meeting with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, stated that he supports a “fair” peace for Ukraine but refrained from specifics regarding what agreement he would consider fair for ending the war between Russia and Ukraine.

Recently, Trump once again made a series of strange statements about Russia’s war against Ukraine, talking about “almost all cities being demolished to the foundation” and placing the responsibility for the invasion happening at all on Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Joe Biden.

Trump also stated that he threatened Putin with a strike on Moscow if he invaded Ukraine.
