Rome will host the Ukraine Recovery Conference next July

The conference on Ukraine’s recovery will take place on July 10-11, 2025, in the Italian capital.

As reported by Ukrinform, citing ANSA, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni announced this to journalists after a bilateral meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Thursday evening in Rome.

“The Italian Prime Minister also announced that the Ukraine Recovery Conference will be held in Rome on July 10-11 next year,” the statement reads.

Meloni assured: “The goal of our support is to provide Ukraine with conditions that would allow it to sit at the negotiating table for peace.”

At the same time, the Italian Prime Minister emphasized that this peace must not be a capitulation, “as many, too many, cowardly suggest.”
