16 Days Against Violence Campaign Launched in Ukraine

The 16 Days Against Violence campaign, which will last until December 10, started in Ukraine today, November 25.

This was reported by UA with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

The 16 Days Against Violence campaign is held annually to address issues of domestic violence, child abuse, anti-trafficking and women’s rights.

The campaign period covers several important dates:

November 25 – International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women;

December 1 – World AIDS Day;

December 2 – International Day against Slavery;

December 3 – International Day of Persons with Disabilities;

December 5 – International Volunteer Day;

December 6 – Commemoration of students shot in Montreal;

December 10 – International Human Rights Day.

The Ministry of Education and Science has prepared a number of events, online webinars, thematic lessons, lectures, materials that can be used by the school during quarantine restrictions.
