137 Ukrainian companies have started working in foreign markets over a year and a half – Kuleba

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine creates new economic opportunities for Ukrainian exporters, attracts foreign investors to Ukraine and over a year and a half of the government’s work has helped 137 Ukrainian companies start operating in new foreign markets.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba announced this at an online briefing, UA informs.

Dmytro Kuleba announced the signing of a document that approved large-scale internal changes in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in the direction of helping business, developing trade and attracting investments – “The procedure for the activities of departments for economic issues in foreign diplomatic institutions”.

The minister said that over a year and a half of the government’s work, 137 Ukrainian companies began operating in foreign markets with the assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and foreign diplomatic institutions of Ukraine. Markets have been opened for 59 product groups in 18 countries of the world, or access to markets has been restored in cooperation with the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection. Recent developments include the opening of markets for honey and beekeeping products in Qatar, dairy products in Turkey, poultry in Liberia, and poultry and eggs in Japan.

To remind, Japan lifted restrictions on the export of Ukrainian poultry and eggs.
