Around 12,500 Ukrainians chose a family doctor on the first day of the Doctor for Every Family program.

The national campaign is part of Ukraine’s efforts at medical reform.

Deputy Minister of Health, Pavlo Kovtonyuk wrote about it on Facebook.

“The electronic system worked normally. There were occasions when the system froze, but they were solved,” Kovtonyuk said.

According to him, there were cases of some medical institutions that refused to sign people’s declarations.

On April 2, the Doctor for Every Family campaign began in Ukraine.
